The love of known sculptor Rania Ampatzi-Kodona for the art of ceramics and clay led her to the creation of Patmos Cotto.

Giorgos Kodonas, her son, continues from 1998 the tradition of the island with "ceramidia", the hand made ceramic floor tiles as found in old monasteries, archaeological sites and mansions of Patmos.
